moving to start a family. Honolulu versus Anchorage. and why?

I’ve been to Honolulu many years ago, but the closest i got to Anchorage was B.C. i’ve seen pictures of it and talked to some people that loved it there though. for raising a family, which would you say is better and please give reasons why.
